El 24 de marzo del 2017 se lanzó el nuevo álbum de la banda Steel Panther, “Lower the Bar”. Es el cuarto álbum de estudio del divertido cuarteto de Los Angeles, California, que incluye cortes como “I Got What You Want”.

El sencillo de presentación del material fue el tema “She’s Tight”, tema original de Cheap Trick. En la versión de Steel Panther participó justamente Robin Zander, vocalista de Cheap Trick.

El guitarrista y cantante también apareció en el video del tema, al igual que Bobbie Brown, la modelo y actriz famosa por “Cherry Pie”, de Warrant.  El segundo corte de “Lower the Bar” fue “Anything Goes”.

El disco cuenta con 11 temas, con una duración de cerca de 40 minutos de buen rock divertido. Aunque Steel Panther es una agrupación humorística, es difícil no tormarla en serio cuando se ponen a rockear. El tercer sencillo del trabajo fue “Poontang Boomerang”.
