“In the End” es uno de los tema más reconocidos de la banda Linkin Park. El sencillo alcanzó el primero de los puestos en la lista de Canciones Alternativas de Estados Unidos el 22 de diciembre del 2001. Así, se mantendría 44 semanas en ese conteo.

Una semana después la canción se ubicó de #3 en la lista de Mainstream Rock de Billboard, el 29 de diciembre del 2001. Estaría por un total de 41 semanas en el listado.

“In the End” salió como cuarto sencillo del disco “Hybrid Theory”. Se lanzó el 9 de octubre del 2001, siendo el último corte del álbum debut de la banda. Llegaría al segundo lugar del Hot 100 en Billboard, el 30 de marzo del 2002. Estaría por un total de 39 semanas en el conteo.

El sencillo es uno de los temas más populares lanzados por Linkin Park y su más exitoso en cuanto a listas de Billboard. Su video fue dirigido por Joe Hahn y Nathan “Karma” Cox.
